Rau Paenga has a structured Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) governance programme, from the Board and CEO to workers on site.
The goal: ‘Everybody safe, everybody home. Every day.’ The company proactively manages critical HSE risks. Health and safety performance is measured at both project and programme level. The Total Recordable Injury Frequency Rate (TRIFR) across the Rau Paenga programme of work is currently well below the industry average. The company also effectively manages Safety in Design (where safety is incorporated in the project design process) across all projects.
