Shovel Ready Projects

Ōtākaro has financial oversight of 19 ‘shovel ready’ projects in Canterbury.

These are infrastructure projects that are receiving support from the Government to help stimulate the COVID-19 impacted economy.

To be eligible for funding, physical construction work must be underway within one year (by 1 May 2021).
